a time window

moxy.jpg2-29-anagram.jpgIf eyes see like a camera, one of us is upside down. Eyes, the window to the soul, to the heart of another, and if people can see through teeth, well, why can’t others “out there” see through us. Ya never know. I had time for an anagram, a quick pick, as it were. The text, “Weird! It was like I was lost in some pocket of time…no longer yesterday but not yet tomorrow…” The anagram is simple, and follows up on recent post, and a belief that we can actually talk/communicate in ways our little pea-brains have yet to fathom. The anagram is, “We saw a time window to talk in, it’s proof I signed more letters, try not to block your eye.”

It’s hard for humans to wrap their thoughts around something as yet “unproven” by certain scientific standards, “unheard” by a certain range of sound outside the body, it must be something “out there”. Yes, I believe in God, Jesus and the Holy Ghost and I believe because I believe that, and because I believe with a whole heart and mind, that the possibility of ALL THINGS is not a reach…it’s not a reach. God is science provable by thinking outside that box. Go higher and wider in your imagination, you’ll see how I came to this language.

A commercial comes on and I hear, “Your love is taking me

terrapinpt.jpg

higher, than I ‘ve ever been taken before.”

If people would take the time to look around, they would see more of the things I see. Take this photo for instance…Terrapin Point, Niagara Falls. A friend took this photo on the New York side. Nice photo, eh? I thought so.

But did you see the man in Terrapin Point? maninterrapin.jpgMaybe with the area of the photo enlarged you can see what I see. My friend didn’t see it, but the camera did. I see what the camera sees. If someone asked if you could see God everywhere, what would you say? I’d say God is a chameleon and because I want to see Him in the face of others, I see, faces. It’s part of what our brain “does”, so I see faces everywhere, like the man in Terrapin Point. It’s a profile…maybe a stretch for some.  When I went to Niagara Falls, back in 2002, I was on the Canadian side. My first and only trip to Canada. I would love to go back there. I went with a friend who told me his parents conceived him there. It was a business trip but I said I would ride along as long as I could see Niagara.

buddyniagara1.jpgWhile there I came across this character. I took a few photos but my photos were not just of the falls. I took pictures of other things, this little guy being my favorite photo, one of the viewers at the edge of the walkway. Viewers? Yeah, one of those things you feed a quarter to and it opens it’s eyes so you can look through to see at a distance. I saw ”the viewer” as a character, not just a piece of machinery. I aptly named him Niagara. He has a special place in my thinking now.

sidetracked…

After my last post I got sidetracked, lost the train of thought. I went to the grocery store, and those friends came by. It was a couple of hours between the time I put the last one on and getting back to checking out today’s comic strips.  Still working from somewhere around the signal post or even before that (considering I am still following a nexus form here) it is hard for this old brain to keep on track sometimes. I did finally get through the comics though and have a collage for today, but not yet done an anagram. You know I will. I must be getting close to another breakthrough…I was just asked about dinner.

leapt.jpg

I especially liked Ziggy coming into place today…considering the line up and what I have brought up recently.

Back to random life…

It’s not a bookmobile, but picking out books on line from the library is kinda’ fun. I order, I wait a few days or more for the books I want, which are never on the shelf, then someone contacts me and I get books. My friend Darlene and I discussed online library services yesterday when I had a question about our library’s services. Her husband works at the library. I complained that the patron number had to be put in each time I changed to a different page, and wasn’t sure if it was operator error or what. Of course, all that entering the same number over and over again, I now know the number. She said she didn’t know her number. She just sent me a cartoon that mentions the library card number:

I thought it was funny, especially because I didn’t know there was a library comics strip. After I read her mail I checked my horoscope, finding an interesting connection:

See if you can trust fate, just for now. If you persist on your current path, you should find that things start to line up in the right way pretty soon — and that you succeed in a pretty spectacular way!”

Lining things up….from one post to the next, I do what I can.

Now that I have to make dinner, it’ll be awhile before I am back on track.

i can talk

cantutalk.jpgThe episode is “Grace”, where Sam awakens to find the crew of the Prometheus missing right after aliens have attacked. (Sci-fi’s Stargate 2004) “You’re me talking to me?” Sam says, as she finds herself talking to Daniel who she thinks she sees (but he is really just in her head) while we (the viewers) see Daniel and herperfect-2-29.jpg talking (about 10:23 am as I was watching). Tilke comes to her next and says, “Everything is not as it seems…maybe you are the one who is not here”, also saying she may be on the alien ship, with the aliens probing her mind. Sooner or later a little girl’s bubbles help Sam to get back to where she belongs. She makes a deal with the aliens and the crew is returned, a hyperspace bubble is created and the aliens keep their end of the bargain. Hard to tell (on the show of course) what was real and what was just a figment of her imagination. Love that Sci-fi, don’t you? Stargate has been a long-time favorite.

Yes, the beau is sleeping and I could’ve changed the channel, but I don’t. That happens a lot around here, but the TV is always on a channel I can use. What is the channel you get? “Sam” was having a hard time focusing, and the people she knows kept popping into her head, to help her. I made it to the next comic, where Monty says, “That might explain why you can’t pick it up in one piece…” Of course, why didn’t I think of that, lol. Well, that IS what my life is like, so some extent. I let Peanut (the Chihuahua) out a few minutes, come back and I check one more comic strip, Peanuts. I still have not made it to comics.com yet.

The next Stargate show comes on, and I hear, “We need to talk.” That’s where I started this post, with that picture (can’t we talk) at the top of the post. I put part of the next cartoon in the post, where the guy says, “Perfect! I’m glad you two worked it out”, because it goes with the Sam thing, and knowing the day will be one long conversation. Well, as many posts as it takes, though this does build on the last one, I will get through the comics.

“Has any progress been made?” I hear on the TV. “Very little I’m afraid”, another character says.

Time to publish another one.

Duh…

invisibility

invisible-man.gif

Right after I posted my previous entry I went back to a file folder I had just used. I was looking through the file for a particular photo when I came upon this one of the invisible man. It has been in my file a couple of years. Obviously I thought it was funny enough to keep it in a file.

As I was looking at it there was a commercial on, it’s one of those army commericials in which father is talking about his son who is in the army and his dad says, “ Well, he can outrun me.” I just started laughing. What synchronicity! I do have a lot of fun with the synchronicities in life, even if it is just me and mr. invisible. I hope others see the humor in this as I do. It wreaks havoc with A.D.D. though…very distracting. What was I doing?

Something about a train…oh yeah, the nexus…my train of thought…t2r_box.jpgI do have a tendency to ride the train and tell of what I find along the way. It’s stream of consciousness thinking/posting. As I think I put it down, and whatever comes next is what comes next. Does it always work that way? Well, I can’t really say. I do have a tendency to jump around a lot.

Every time I am in the middle of some post, or the pieces of it from my computer or the internet, the cat needs in, the dog needs out or the beau decides he needs something to eat or drink (he spends most of the day asleep but wakes to feed). I save what I have, go do whatever, and come back to find the beau on the computer. Sometimes I don’t get back to the post for hours. He is awake most of the night on the computer, looking at who knows what, playing games, etc., and has no idea what it is like to be in the middle of something and have to postpone the train of thought. Having only one operational computer in the house is a real pain. Yes, he could play games on one not connected to the internet. Oh well, A.D.D. is coming on, again, so I need to get back to the nexus.

At this point I have only looked at maybe 7 comic strips. I have a few on my “my yahoo” page to get me started, then I jump around. At some point I will be interrupted by friends stopping in for a while, too. No idea what time. I would like to finish my dailies though. I saved this post and decided to go look at a couple of toons, to start my collage file from which I would do an anagram. After I saw the next two comic strips I figured I would go ahead and post this entry. Why” It’s too much to keep straight in my head.

Here are the next two comics I came to: Garfield…

and Lio:

Yeah, I need to go focus a little. Maybe doing the comics in order would help today. Apparently I “have them” before reading them, but still, it would be nice to have my coffee, copy the toons I need for a collage, and do another post when I have that out of the way. Stream of consciousness trains are fairly fast, and I am drinking de-caf, so it takes more coffee to process and keep the A.D.D. at bay.

fuzzy logic

atennisballl-where.jpg

Today’s Get Fuzzy text is not being used for this entry, but I am using part of today’s Get Fuzzy comic strip (illustration and text) comic strip to illustrate a nexus. Yesterday I used part of the Monty strip where a “signal” is being shown and gave a few anagrams for that. Today I am using the same part of that comic strip, changing the anagram ever so slightly, then adding another anagram (from that same text) and using it to show a connection that appears in today’s Get Fuzzy strip. The added anagram is “You find a window. This isn’t high tennis. I see a man that’s thinking…that’s a clue.” Re-anagramming also gave me this: “I meant that this signal’s shown again. I think it indicates when they found us.”

160x600_dp_deeper_01.jpgIf you look at the Get Fuzzy strip you will see that the dog mentions “tennis” and the man is thinking. Tennis is like an inside joke between me and the Big Guy. I used to find tennis balls, as clues, whenever I would have my “conversations” while out walking on the river bank. Sometimes I would find them in other places too, but they would get my attention, it’s kinda’ like fetch. Sometimes I would bring home whatever the trash was that I found on the banks, because I wanted a photo of  that part of the conversation. I have brought home some strange stuff. I also collect driftwood too, but that’s really not that unusual. Once I found a giant wooden egg (formed from being in the water, no doubt) on the riverbank, but I couldn’t bring it home…too big for me to handle alone. I was also on my way out of town. By the time I got back, it was gone. Someone else got it.

OOPS! I am going off track again. I-think-I-can-I-think-I-can, get back to where I was. Oh yeah, the nexus…I need to go look at more cartoons.

aliens? naaaaaah…

Well, it could be aliens, who knows. Must be that weird tooth in my mouth, a wild form of wisdom that used to come in just a little bit more each time I was pregnant, like an antenna or another eye of sorts. Gotta be some reason I “see” this way…in anagrams.

Did you read that story on the blind man who now sees with his son’s tooth inserted in his eye socket (with a lens inserted in a hole drilled in the tooth)? Ain’t nuttin’ new under the sun,  stranger things happen every day. I used to work in ophthalmology some 30 years ago, but never saw one of these types of surgeries. There are a few photos (on this page) showing what is called Osteo-Odonto-Keratoprosthesis (OOKP). This may be a bit gross for some but the photos give you an idea of what I am talking about. Freaky, but functional. The beau didn’t want to look at the screen while I looked at it, but he is really squeamish, so I understand. Science is a marvelous tool man that man’s been given.

I think it is all part of the Big Guy’s plan. Some get more confused with ideas of the future, and some come up with the new ideas that become every day fact. Whoda’ thunk? I just keep trying to keep up from one post to the next. The last post included the little alien theme I got going here, as did others recently.

I did another anagram, go figure, because it seemed no one has picked up on the alien theme I got going here, or the signal from outer space. The comics are cosmic, at least I see them that way. The text bubbles shown from Monty today are, “What’s that? It’s a signal I use to indicate when I think something is funny” translated to the three anagrams as shown:

2-28-08anagram2.jpg

1.) “What’s new? You maintain high-use, don’t think that’s a Sci-Fi signal? intent hides.”

2.) “That this is shown again, I think it meant signal indicates when they found us!”

3.) “What a deal! It is an uncanny thought…who gets Einstein’s mind? I think it’s a fish!”

Just think of the possibilities!

I do!

Post Script: Later in the evening I added this PS after reading my science mail. As it turned out there was a post today on Space.com/SETI about aliens and signals. I just opened my mail about 8:30 PM. It really gave me a laugh considering I posted the entry before I read the SETI article. Life’s little coincidences are so much fun. Borrowing a quote from the SETI post, “It comes down to this: When someone tells you the aliens couldn’t possibly hear us, you can just smile politely. The truth is, they could. And what about us hearing them?”

just a memo…

“Say it all fits…Yes, man got life’s famous space “Wow!”…very interesting.”

It does all fit. It’s just an anagram, though, right?

2-28anagrams.jpg

Today’s anagram came from Winnie the Pooh text. How innocuous is that? The text chosen was, “Owl says it’s a very efficient way of telling us important messages!” Well, I am sure in the forest where these creatures live, it would be good to use a language they could read. What language do you think others could use that we could understand. Pictures, words…something current? Something obvious!

In my last post, I did mention (well, maybe I didn’t mention anything directly) the nexus of my previous posts, building on something. I just use what I have available as it is given. Sometimes, one frame at a time of comics strip bubbles. Sometimes, it is just whatever is in my mind. This particular anagram today does, in fact, tell enough to connect it to a previous post…something about a signal…pretty funny, isn’t it? The universe and I have a great game going…

Do you see any connections? SETi

if only…or

if they were only words…

it wouldn’t be unusual to find text bubbles in comic strips that make conversation. It’s when words from different comic strips combine to make a conversation that it gets a little weird. That’s what I focused on this morning…comics conversation, or maybe it’s really cosmic conversation. The first block shows only the text bubbles, the “conversation” as it were. It goes like this:

“Oh, Good Lord…she just cracked her knuckles…ready? She never knows when to expect me, so she always expects me. This early? Promise not to laugh if I show you something? What’s that? It’s a hand signal I use to indicate when I think something is funny. Oh my God. Cartoonist?! Weeeird. One picture is worth a thousand words. Owl says it’s a very efficient way of telling us important messages. Okay, let me rephrase that…(look at the illustration). See all the purty fishies? Tommy! Look out! Shark! (picture of a paddlefish) How much are you seeking? Ching! You know. Oh, well, Nessie is a special case, of course. Now what! All right, I’m gonna get to the bottom of this! im-possible…the difference is real. You asked the one question he can’t figure out! Now what do we do? I thought you guys would know.  Oh yeah, much better. It’s a work in progress, okay?”

justwords.jpg

Ok…maybe you need pictures. I usually need pictures, myself.

2-28comics.jpg

Some people already think this is weird enough. But when you consider my posts include talk of the difference, that basically God’s not done with me yet, cartoonist and SETi Berkeley, signals, and a singular mention of Nessie yesterday…yeah, just a coincidence, wasn’t it? That’s what they say. Purdy, or is it purty? Now I guess I gotta go finish my comics, get some more coffee and figure out an anagram for later today.

livin’ the memory

Ahhh yes…It took me back to summers on the lake, Crystal Lake, in Beooolaaaaah (Beulah) when I got my new Midwest Living magazine supplement in the mail yesterday. I miss those days with the kids and their grandparents. Being divorced from their father I had to give the vacations up, but the memories are still good. We used to go to the same spots every year while there: Gwen Frostics prints, whose beautiful block-prints and poetry are worth the trip anyday, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Empire Beach, Frankfort and Point Betsie Lighthouse, or just a bicycle ride to downtown Beulah.  The same familiar places were always augmented by some new drive or day trip, boat rides and lazy days on the beach, or a stroll to find wildflowers for making a bouquet for grandma. Artwork was a must, for adults and children. It was always a good time. Crystal Lake was just that then, crystal clear. Always cool water, but you get used to it after a while. No crowds, plenty of water sports activities, a real sailing, sailboarding lake. The kids’ grandfather fished now and then, but no nessie-types were ever found.

Looking for  Petoskey stones was my favorite thing to do every day while the kids played near the shore, or tested out their swimming skills. They counted on me to find the stones in the water. I always did, even though most of them were a little harder to find in the area where we stayed, the pattern was certainly not as well defined as those in this photo , but still worth the search.  Nature has certainly given us many beautiful “things” to help us keep a precious lifetime of memories. Some day if I ever have money again, I would like to have a vacation again. I’d go to Michigan for the summer if I could, too! There’s just something spiritual about being around that much water, fresh air and sunshine. Of course, being around the the places where we once made memories makes one feel young again, too.

All that even before I opened to the first page of the magazine. Yep, I am still livin’ the memories. You know, I like being by the river, but give me a lake or ocean beach any day, too! Caribbean blue water is my favorite color. I could even live on the water, couldn’t you? No waterworld, thank you , but a nice little houseboat…

what a signal

Once upon a time there was a signal called the ”Wow! signal“, found by Jerry R. Ehman an astronomer who was the first scientist to detect such a radio signal on August 15, 1977. At the time this was discovered Mr. Ehman was working on a project at the Big Ear radio telescope of Ohio State University.

If you’d like to join the search for ET install download the SETI/BERKELEY program.

I have a triplet or two lost in my old computer which is in storage, but can’t prove it to you. I did do screen shots of it, but, of course, that’s stuck in the computer, too. What’s a triplet? According to Seti at home,

“Triplets are a sets of 3 equally spaced spikes. Whereas gaussians represent a constant signal from space, triplets may represent a series of pulses transmitted at fixed time intervals.” They have a few screen shots you can look at here.

Since BERKELEY came up today, I was  lead to look up a couple of old comic strips because parts of them go with this whole post so well. First things first.

I did not do a collage today, but instead chose a random comic strip text bubble to anagram, as I always do, and got three anagrams from the text, “I tell ya kid…I don’t know how much more weirdness I can take [and] Better stay away from the mirror.”:

1.) “I think you knew I  made the most of my written word, it became a rare skill; try on a word search.”

 anagram1-2-27-08.jpg

2.) ”Leonardo’s wit came in handy… first time you met Berkeley, how weird was that knock at mirror?”

Notice Berkeley Breathed’s Opus character and use of an anagram in the comics.

2-27anagrams.jpg

3.) “That first “Wow!” was an early knock, Berkeley, ET came, we had to do this in your “mirror mind” time.”

Hmmm. A little bubbling by one Berkeley or another.

anagram3-2-27-081.jpg

Do you think any of this has affected our minds? Or is it brains, eh Berkeley?

Why I'm here...

A friend told me I should blog here. I use Cosmic Bubbles to make a connection between an inner and outer world, where comics anagram to a functional place in my life. I write in nexus form, (at least that is what I call it) because one thing builds on another generally. I am led to use my senses in ways most people might not, because I am aware of a natural presence, I guess I should say. I talk to God, Jesus, ET, the Big Guy, "them." Some may now say, OK, let's move on, find another blog, this woman is just nuts (something I may have said a few years back myself). But you might not...you might just find something else a little eerie, a little fun, spooky maybe in an Einsteinian way. Tying anagrams to daily life or a continuing series of concepts may just give you another perspective, allowing you to become a bit more aware of yourself in the scheme of things. It is always better to go back a few posts because one post alone doesn't really tell you what is going on here. What does go on is a connection, where sometimes I write a thought and I hear something on TV to clarify the thought I just had. Yes, I believe thoughts are real things, they manifest in ways I did not know about until the past couple of years. I used concrete examples, documenting as best I can as things occur, so people can see the synchronicity of the moment, the coincidence as it were, if you believe things are so random. Well, I believe all things are possible, and I show that every day in some small way.
