humming along

It’s not the first time “talking fish” have been mentioned, and there is more than one kind, too. There was the Hebrew speaking fish a few years back…and MSNBC reported on the sounds fish make a couple of years ago, too. Today’s talking fish story is just another reminder that there are other inhabitants of this earth that speak, even though we may not always understand them. Maybe they just like to hum along with the music…there’s a video of the midshipman fish “talking” and “humming”. I think they resemble mudcats a bit, even though they don’t have whiskers or fins alike…something in how I see things, I guess. When I saw the story yesterday, “When Fish Talk, Scientists Listen” I went looking for comparison photos but really couldn’t find anything to help explain. Actually I looked for similar photos when I posted this  collage on the 11th, when I was looking for a real mudcat. And speaking of mudcats…I spent the afternoon keeping my friend’s Mudcat Pottery shop open since she was vacationing in Asheville this week. She needed a little time off with hubby and mother-in-law. I sure hope they had fun.

I don’t mind watching her shop for her generally, but my back has let me know I am not ready for a “real” job yet. It’s frustrating to not be able to do things I used to take for granted. A couple of days here and there for a few hours I can handle, but last time she asked I couldn’t help out. I came home and fixed dinner even though I was ready to scream in pain. I probably took it out on the dogs a bit, hurrying them and being a bit gruff. The beau handles it fine, he just goes to sleep and ignores me just fine. I knew this morning when I picked garden beans it would be one of those days. Ten minutes outside and I needed two hours to recoup. If the YMCA was closer or I knew someone with a pool it would be good exercise. There is a rehab pool at the hospital’s facility on the hill, but not at any hour. It’s been a while getting in such bad shape, and I know it won’t be overnight to get back to normal again, whatever that is these days.

Meanwhile I will try not to complain anymore, put the day’s collage up and see about anagramming something for awhile. I hope you catch the little things in the collage.

Dont' stop with one post! This is one of those blogs where you need to go back a few entries in order to connect some of the anagrams, comics, or collages, as is often the case of art imitating life. Some of the anagrams are outstanding coincidences of that which occurs in daily life. Give it a try!

Why I'm here...

A friend told me I should blog here. I use Cosmic Bubbles to make a connection between an inner and outer world, where comics anagram to a functional place in my life. I write in nexus form, (at least that is what I call it) because one thing builds on another generally. I am led to use my senses in ways most people might not, because I am aware of a natural presence, I guess I should say. I talk to God, Jesus, ET, the Big Guy, "them." Some may now say, OK, let's move on, find another blog, this woman is just nuts (something I may have said a few years back myself). But you might not...you might just find something else a little eerie, a little fun, spooky maybe in an Einsteinian way. Tying anagrams to daily life or a continuing series of concepts may just give you another perspective, allowing you to become a bit more aware of yourself in the scheme of things. It is always better to go back a few posts because one post alone doesn't really tell you what is going on here. What does go on is a connection, where sometimes I write a thought and I hear something on TV to clarify the thought I just had. Yes, I believe thoughts are real things, they manifest in ways I did not know about until the past couple of years. I used concrete examples, documenting as best I can as things occur, so people can see the synchronicity of the moment, the coincidence as it were, if you believe things are so random. Well, I believe all things are possible, and I show that every day in some small way.
