I notice things people might not ordinarily. I mentioned in a previous post (coffee anyone? ) the “disappearance” of some coffee filters. It could be I just forgot I used them all somehow…maybe I have a split personality and one knows all the filters were used and the other was asleep for a week or two. Of course that means the same for the beau…
The so-called disappearance was on the 25th while I was out. When I looked for coffee filter pictures for the collage, I came across some cartoons and because the tab was unusual I took a screen shot, as I often do when I run across things I use in the collage. This one may
surprise you. Since I was talking to someone about my vertigo that day, it seemed appropriate to find that and put in my collage. I noticed a number of things about that particular “find” but won’t spill the beans about everything just yet…things have a way of evolving in their own time. The first collage has more to do with the last two posts and the second a follow-up. Since I had so many cartoons to use (yesterday and today) I have these two collages, and to save space made them thumbnails. It may be more difficult to refer to them this way, but it’s worth looking each over and then maybe you can relate to the previous posts. If not, you may have to wonder why I even do this blog. You may anyway. There’s alot of text in these so I have not chosen any to anagram yet. If I have something to tell, I will.
Miscellaneous life…
The Delta Queen was in town today for her send-off. It was nice to see so many people showed up. That kind of crowd is what I am used to seeing on Newport on the Levee or in Cincinnati on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. I wish there was enough to draw people like that more often. Anyway…
My sister called me today to see why I had no phoned or written a thank you for a box of stuff she sent a week or so ago. Well, I did not get it yet and she asked about the address to make sure it was correct. She gave me the address, which as it turns out is the Lanier Mansion downtown. No, I did not give her that address, and am pretty sure my alter ego did not do so either. I don’t live there, but I went by there today and asked that if a package shows up for me to please call. Some family heirlooms she said. Yeah, I know how that works. I laughed when she told me what she had put in the box. Of course, she also sent a friend a piece of well-wrapped toast…on purpose, but I did not get the story behind that one. Fortunately, she put a well-known and easily found address on the package, not sending it to some drug-dealers house or an empty lot. I know, it’s beginning to sound like there is something that runs in the family. Oh, well, if it were only that easy to explain. I guess I’ll go work on those anagrams.
