Moose at play. I don’t know what makes you smile these days, but when the beau went in for surgery, I got this link of moose twins in a sprinkler from a friend who thought I could use the diversion for a minute or two. That was enough to make me smile as was, but then I noticed For Better or Worse comic strip also had a couple of kids running in the sprinkler, which to me was a cute synchronicity.
I put the God/camel/needle references in the collage because when the beau went in for surgery he had on a camel shirt, a black shirt with the words, “Camel is where it’s @” written on it.
I did a few anagrams from the text in this collage. I used, “Wow, I couldn’t have planned that better if I’d tried. There you go again…it’s uncanny! I can’t believe we did that! Again!” I’ll just use one anagram set for now. “I believe God indicated when to get another hip surgery. What did I want? Be nutty and fun. I locate Canaan via title.” Well, I did want the other hip to be fixed as soon as possible, so apparently as soon as the first leg was ready to support this one, it happened. I noticed on the wall right outside the doctor’s office there was a nice black and white photo of the road to Canaan. I had a Canaan healer reference (more biblical mention) in one of my other anagrams, prior to actually seeing the wall photo, so it gave me a Canaan clue. It meant something about healing to me at the time that I was thinking about it, and I think I had a dream about it at some point. I took the Canaan healer to be Christ, no specific story though. Anyway, I used to wonder where Canaan (Indiana) was; now I know. Funny how things come together sometimes.
I missed church this past Sunday, but it did not escape my memory that the pastor was reading in Genesis about Jacob last Sunday. If you recall, Jacob wrestled with God and got himself a broken hip. Yes, really, you can read that in Genesis “…he touched the socket of Jacob’s hip so that his hip was wrenched as he wrestled with the man.” (sermon notes)
We were at that point in the verses the pastor was reading, so the timeliness of the beau’s broken hip is a real live coincidence, don’t you think. The beau is not a believer, but I am, without a doubt. So I would call it a sprinkle or two as to what was in the works this past week.
