NSF

September 30, 2008

NSF. No, that isn’t the abbreviation for non-sufficient funds, but it could be. It’s for the National Storytelling Festival which runs October 3-5 this year. When I saw the one comic strip today that has the text about the day after tomorrow (top right), it reminded me that on the Thursday before the festival my sister and I used to head down to Jonesborough, Tennessee, so we could register early for the weekend at the National Storytelling Festival. We would spend an enjoyable drive to Tennesee the day before so we could begin Friday with a well-planned out itinerary and see as many storytellers as possible. My sister moved to Jonesborough last summer because of a job but will be moving soon… they decided they didn’t need her services any more. Nice after she moved there. She has been looking for a job for quite a while now and will have to move someplace soon. It figures, I was unable to visit her last year because of my illness and this year, I don’t have the money for gas, let alone the money to attend. I haven’t seen her since she came to help me out after my divorce in 2002, and the one place we could see each other and enjoy an entire weekend…I guess I just need to suck it up. I really do miss my sister. It gets harder as we get older, you know. Yeah, life can be so disappointing at times. It showed up in the anagram, surprised huh? Yeah, right.

in a what?

Do We Live in a Giant Cosmic Bubble?” The title alone was enough to make me smile. I ran across the cosmic bubble article on Space.com this morning.

If, as the author writes, scientists suggest we may be “trapped in an abnormal bubble of space-time that is particularly void of matter” I suppose that would mean “we” are special…but trapped? One is only trapped by the limits of the imagination. The author writes that if this ”void idea” is presumed correct, the Copernicus principle is kaput, so 450 years of thinking goes down the hole, as it were. Would it be so bad that earth be an exalted peculiarity in this sector of space? The possibility that we may live in a cosmic bubble is amusing to someone who has a blog named cosmic bubbles.  ;)

Delta Queen update

September 29, 2008

There was an article in the Madison Courier today about the Delta Queen. A film crew was in town at some point after the DQ docked in Madison this weekend. A segment about the Delta Queen steamboat is scheduled to be aired in October, 2008. The Delta Queen is scheduled to make two more stops in Madison, in October..then what???

(my other posts mentioning the Delta Queen)

sort of

September 29, 2008

ANAGRAM: “Wall Street has taken a kick. It’s twenty-ninth, Dow Jones reflects big U.S. money failure. Some may not want to know, so they take it on faith. I move it to the open. It’s a mystery how I got that right.” The text came from the comics text as shown in the first collage. I am sure you were made aware of the day’s financial news at some point. The Dow Jones was down over 700 points today, due to the proposed “bailout bill” not going through today. I’m sure things will work out. Meanwhile…

I’ve been remiss. There are times when anagramming gets to be more than I can handle on a daily basis, although I do them on a daily basis. There was a certain theme in the anagrams the past few days that kept going and got more specific and quite frankly, I just don’t think I want to go into the business of prophecy yet, although when the term subliminal opthalmology came up it was interesting. It was part of an anagram “conversation”, which seemed more a direct from God quote that I will let you know about at a later point in time. God can do anything He wants, and because of that I have decided to wait on posting those anagrams until I see what else comes of what I wrote. I am posting only the collages and, as it is, the conversation in these do enough talking.

If you follow the comics collages I put together, you will notice (in my last post, in thought today) one of the last anagrams started with, “While it’s sort of out there …” you might notice that Blondie and Dagwood both use the “sort of” routine in Sunday’s comics. I’ve been sort of out of it the past few days too, so am going to rest.

in thought today

September 26, 2008

Anybody know how I can be led to pick out specific comic bubbles to anagram everyday?”Deity” sent  a “letter” that inferred use of faith.  I know which woman has an eye disease. You allow us a hand up in the matter. Faith’s aware, you witness story .

There were lots of ups and downs that I made in comics connections today, coming from my drop down pop ups no doubt. The previous day’s collage and anagram (not posted) is here, as well. I only post because it is too difficult to save it and go back. These have been rather insistent anyway. “While it’s sort of out there we continued thinking. Hey, you asked Jesus to help Barbara. We told you we needed nothing except plain text. Mind if our son proves you right? Just let Lord do a little kindness. I will title it in thought today, too.” These both would make a connection with the previous post, a cosmic agenda and the anagram that came from that, wherein a healing was mentioned. None has occurred yet, but it was asked. All I can do is put it in God’s hands.

I’ll let you know what comes of all this. The thoughts would not leave the anagrams, so maybe now I can let it be. There are many unknowns in this world, and I cannot explain how or why I do anagrams everyday, just that I do. Sometimes there are some rather insistent thougths that come through, my unconscious mind at work. The fact that I dearly wish for someone I know to be healed is not just entertainment, it is thought. Thoughts are a first step to a certain reality. The rest is faith.

a cosmic agenda

September 24, 2008

“A wish to heal Paperbubbles’ friend, we ask Lord for which remedy to try…at least instruction manual got sent down. Lamb pleased to work with her eyes.” Now and then I stick to a certain ethic and will not complete an anagram. Since  today’s was about a specific healing for a particular individual that I know, until it happens I am not posting what the anagram said in its entirety. I am not a psychic healer or anything, I just do anagrams because the universe tells me things that relate. If what was written in my anagram today comes true I will post it, but for privacy reasons, it ain’t happening unless the Lord Himself writes it while I am asleep tonight. Of course, I wouldn’t be surprised if He did.

You can see where the instruction manual got sent down” in the last post. That should suffice for now. Meanwhile, read the collage and see how it relates to previous posts and anagrams.

drop down pop ups

September 24, 2008

It was one of those moments. I don’t know whatcha’ call ‘em either, but these annoying things usually drop down onto whatever it is you’re looking at and hang in the middle of the screen with no way to click past them. I wouldn’t call it a true pop up, but while I was on a particular comic strip this morning reading about directions a manual or two dropped down on top of the comics. I did a screen shot but since part of the comic was obscured I also did a copy/paste of the information that was covered up so you could see why I thought to do so. One of those split second moments that don’t generally come with this kind of instructions manual. ;)

faster than what

September 24, 2008

Faster than a speeding bullet galaxy I think I should save you. I have an open dream window that tomorrow comes in. I think the eight twenty three clock shook some up. Not much happens around here. I do think I know what who planned. If you’re on fIre I contact wonderful angels by a special phone.

Actually that anagram is the longer version of the one in the last post. I sometimes wait on such things, but decided to go ahead with this because it mentioned the clock in the previous post as well as the speeding galaxy I read about and mentioned in that post. I should have used it first maybe, but sometimes I do a change-up. The text used was,  “Oh, okay, thanks for letting me know. what happened? what do you think? So what if there are errors in the information? lives could be ruined by mistake! That could never happen. I could do with an explanation myself. So you do listen. Now go change…How much longer can I keep up with this insane pace?”

for the time being…

September 23, 2008

I read an article today on Space.com about a dark flow in the universe, and the number 1E 0657-56 came up. Hmmm. Could it be familiar? Well, maybe. It’s what’s known as the ”bullet cluster”. In the article it says, “Patches of matter in the universe seem to be moving at very high speeds and in a uniform direction that can’t be explained by any of the known gravitational forces in the observable universe. Astronomers are calling the phenomenon “dark flow.”

The stuff that’s pulling this matter must be outside the observable universe, researchers conclude.”

Outside the box, huh? I can imagine that. Under the photo shown in the article, “The galaxy cluster 1E 0657-56 (known as the Bullet Cluster) lies 3.8 billion light-years away. It’s one of hundreds that appear to be carried along by a mysterious cosmic flow.”

All this talk about speeding through space (like a bullet, says superman) and I found another one of those news stories about the mysteries of the bullet galaxy where a quote popped off the page at me,  ”We’ve closed this loophole about gravity, and we’ve come closer than ever to seeing this invisible matter.”  (August 21, 2006, NASA RELEASE 06-297, NASA Finds Direct Proof of Dark Matter) I know few can make the connection I do, but I made the connection yesterday about a loophole via my anagram, and today. well, the collage is there for your view.

Yesterday they said the sun was a hitchhiker and now we have dark matter traveling at 2 million mph. They said the universe we see is just a small bubble of space-time that got rapidly expanded after the Big Bang. There could be other parts of the cosmos beyond this bubble that we cannot see. Hmm. Faster than a speeding bullet galaxy…I wonder where this is all going…

It was 8:23 this morning when while working on my collage a pop-up screen saver popped up with a frog atop a clock showing the time could be somewhere between 8:21 and 8:27. So I did a screen shot. Yes, my clocks are off around here too because we have power outages all the time and resetting the clocks is a weekly thing. My computer clock showed 8:23. Sometimes we are off a little here too. ;)

Speaking of being off a little…I had a big splurge at Salvation Army today, bought a couple of small pillows, one of which is a black velveteen edged in a gold design, and four tasseled corners while the other was embroidered with the words, My House is FULL of NUTS!!! It was one of those things that reminded me of my mom, so I bought it. I also purchased a moire tablecloth and a few kitchen drawer organizers. My purchases were 75% off today. I don’t often have money to spend on anything other than food or cleaning supplies, so this was a big deal on some level. I realize it sounds ridiculous to many, even to myself at times, considering September used to be a month when I would spend thousands getting the kids ready for school. Life just isn’t the same anymore. Not having an income puts one in a whole different place in life. I used to think I would be a spoiled suburban housewife in my fifties and sixties, traveling a few times a year. If people only knew how I really live. So why splurge on a pillow? All of my purchases were $7.25. I don’t think God will fry me for that. The beau spends that much each time he buys a six pack of fake beer. I used to pay about that for a reasonable table wine.

Yes, life is very different now. For the time being, I will try to concentrate on what a nice day it is outside, this being my favorite time of year, and enjoy the fact that when I locked my keys in the trunk of the car today, another set at home could be brought to me. Life is more simple, but sometimes simple works just fine.

Today’s collage is subtle in more ways than one.  :)

In the collage the words chosen for today’s anagram are highlighted by yellow. The anagram is “Faster than the speed that a bullet galaxy moves in space I hope I can help a church friend connect it. Funny how a door in universe would open to a world I remember I spoke in.I am His true link.”

a single step

September 22, 2008

“I think he opened an alien loophole, which is different than a time wormhole. I finally found that thing somersaulting at official http://sohowww.nascom.nasa.gov.  I just see sun position made effect on APOD today. I consider it my A.I. riddle… thinking they missed I oddly sweep by.”

Whoa, that was some anagram! My anagram spelled out a website; they do that sometimes when something needs to be made known. The unknown can make things known whenever it wants. I just try to keep up.

The words used for the anagram were, “CAN I CHIME IN WITH A DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE? SO HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE YOU TO FIND ONE? THAT’S NOT WHAT I HAD IN MIND WHEN I ASKED FOR A SCOOTER. YES. I’M IN A DEEP PHILOSOPHICAL MOOD TODAY… THOUGHTS OF LIFE AND DESTINY FILL MY MIND. A JOURNEY OF A THOUSAND MILES BEGINS WITH A SINGLE STEP.”
